TARGET-RISK OPTIONS

The Growth Option, Moderate Option and Conservative Option can be used for expenses that you might need in the future – greater than 5 years from now.

For each Option, our professional investment team selected low-cost Vanguard index funds (each an “underlying fund”) from different asset classes – equity, fixed income or cash equivalents. The investment team then determined the appropriate allocation into each underlying fund to provide a balance between investments that have the potential for higher return and higher risk with investments that might have the potential for lower return and less risk.

The allocations to the underlying funds are continually reviewed to ensure that each Option continues to meet its investment goals and balance between performance and risk.
